# Welcome to Converso

At Converso, we're re-imagining business communications by orchestrating AI agents that keep you seamlessly connected with your customers and clients across every interaction.

Whether it's a support request or a sales enquiry, AI-assisted conversations enhance customer experience while freeing up time for human agents. Converso goes beyond single-purpose chatbots: our agents perform clearly defined tasks, with secure access to tools and systems that let them take meaningful action - not just respond.

That's why we place strong emphasis on **knowledge base creation, information retrieval, and high-quality prompting**. These foundations minimise inaccurate responses and keep replies personalised, relevant, and reliable.

One thing we deliberately don't offer is a choice of underlying AI model. Selecting and testing models is complex, and the differences between them are hard for most users to evaluate. **We select and test the models behind each agent ourselves**, and upgrade them as they improve - so you get consistent performance without needing to understand what's under the hood.

Converso deploys AI across webchat and WhatsApp, with an **integrated helpdesk** and shared inbox. Conversations **hand off seamlessly between AI and human agents** in either direction, whenever it's needed.

Looking ahead, more enquiries will come not from people but from the AI assistants acting on their behalf. We're developing **the capability for your Converso agents to communicate directly with these assistants** - answering questions and progressing enquiries on your customers' behalf. This is a future development, and we'll share more as it takes shape.
